How do you know that the building the assassin was on was taller than the building the counter-snipers were on?
If anyone saw a firearm, presumably he or she would run pell-mell towards the stands yelling (like Clint Eastwood), "Gun!"
Even the most middling ss agent would have pushed DJT down.
It sounds as if these people simply see something that's Not Right, and they're calling Andy Griffith to check it out.
the barn and the countersnipers are clearly shown. They do not have the height to change the angle enough to see around the ridge. As long as he is flat and behind the ridge they cannot shoot him.
Granted, the countersnipers can't shoot what they can't see. Also, they were probably LE and not SS -- they had "POLICE" on their jackets -- so they had to follow the ROE given to them.
It still doesn't explain the lack of response to the many people pointing and yelling that they see the guy, apparently minutes before anything happened.
THAT needs to be explained.
Awaiting the answer to your question.
I think it’s not true.
Sure...when he first started crawling on the roof.
They were alerted to the potential threat well before the shooter got into position to take the shots.
They even had him sighted in plenty of time to take him out....but waited until the shooter got off several shots.
At an absolute rock bottom minimum, the agents near Trump should have been told to either move Trump off the stage or to cover him behind the podium.
That shooter didn't pop his head, and gun, above the roof peak in a couple of seconds, locate Trump and take several shots. No way.
The agents watched him in their scopes for more than enough time to take him out first.
The video here clearly shows both agents with the shooter sighted for AT LEAST 7-8 seconds (likely much longer) before the person taking this video started to focus on those agents. They don't flinch or move from the time this video starts until the one fired his shot...AFTER the would be assassin fire several shots. https://x.com/peat_ross_/status/1812341550925418975
They had him in their sights and waited.
More from that X account...
So let me get this straight.....
1 - The shooter at Trump’s rally was spotted acting suspiciously near the event, Authorities announced over radio to keep an eye on him, and this info was passed to Secret Service. - CNN2 - The shooter made it to the roof with a full rifle kit as TWO witness's saw him and say they were telling authorities and screaming about him for an estimates 3 - 4 min - BBC
3 - A standard sniper-spotter team tasked with covering such a critical direction waits an estimated 42 seconds after looking directly at the shooter, allowing him to take 5 shots at Trump - Video From Event http://x.com/j6videos/statu…
4 - The secret service decides its ok to keep Trump on stage for an extended period of time where he's able to face and actually address the crowd with an active shooter - Video From Event
5 - The secret service didn't think of securing the high point and advantage area over the event...

A permanent ladder would have a cage around it to comply with OSHA standards.
One thing to point the guy out to an officer— what happened next- the guy still was moving up and sliding his rifle. This is not the only people who saw him. Guy with the Trump red hair golf hat— quite vocal.
Who can say— couldn’t they have thrown rocks at him- get him to haul a@@ or make himself seen for full body sighting. These were people not inside the “secure area”, and... could have been armed themselves even in PA.
WOW!
It worked with Lee Harvey Oswald. Tippet was shot with the hopes that DPD would not take a cop killer into custody alive, but couldn't kill him due to the audience in the theater. Ruby had to go in and bat cleanup a few days later.
Unfortunately, if the government wants you dead no amount of warnings will ever be enough.

You can see an officer standing right next to the building as the shooter is crawling across the roof and the crowd urging him to do something for a full minute

BREAKING:
@dbongino
says sources tell him there were very few actual Secret Service agents posted at the Butler rally site. He says a lot of them were temp Homeland Security agents.
Bongino says this was gross incompetence by the Secret Service Counter Sniper Team and the entire Secret Service.
Right down to the perfect patsy. It all stinks.
(it seems some have forgotten the whitmer ‘plot’)
But I can’t yet quantify this as a ds op, even though it smells.
When the assassin was reported, why was Trump not removed from the stage or shielded, while the threat was assessed?
Excellent point. The Secret Service wss twiddling their thumbsm
Im not saying that someone didnt screw up or that things didnt happen.
What Ive been saying since the beginning was that the countersnipers on the red barn did not engage in any of the garbage that a few people are belligerently insisting occurred.
They claim to be trying to get to the answer of what happened then why are they distracting everyone by fabricating nonsense about the only ones that seem to be doing their job?
What the rules of engagement are is not up to the countersnipers.
No, they cant randomly fire through buildings because someone is weird. No, not even if someone points to someone and makes an accusation. If I went to a Biden rally and pointed at someone screaming “gun!” then the secret service should just hose that person full of bullets because I said so? What if I accuse another person? If I did it 12 times in a row I could wipe out the whole rally.
There are a whole host of issues related to angles, communications between those who can see and those who cant, those in supervisory roles granting authority, and other things.
Then there is the issue that the ones buying and intentionally spreading this fiction seem to think that just because the countersnipers can see a piece of the target briefly that they can identify it both well enough to make sure that it is the correct target and hit it safely without risking collateral injury. It seems they dont even understand that someone shooting over a ridge only needs to expose the dome of their head and the muzzle of the weapon.
Ultimately the counter snipers, other than doing what they were supposed to when they had permission and safe opportunity, really have nothing to do with this story so many are trying to weave.
Yes, major problems that need to be addressed then why are these people intentionally creating a narrative that keeps the focus in the wrong place?
WOW.... thanks
Yes, indeed, and also that he was a daytime health care aid worker at a nursing home... so says a yahoooooo summary.
Don't point at anyone; just yell "Gun!".
(Your only priority is to get the Prez under cover.)
It was a permanent ladder attached to the building for service access to the roof, not some extension ladder put up for temporary use.
A building with A PERMANENT LADDER within easy shooting range and there was no security officer on it!
**I think it was during the press conference that someone mentioned they had people securing the inside of that building..
But not on the roof, that had a ladder & a sniper just snuck up there?
I don’t buy it
