NEW: Thomas Matthew Crooks was reportedly rejected from his school’s rifle team because of his bad shot and his “off-color” jokes according to the New York Post.
A former classmates claim he tried out for the rifle team at Bethel Park High School.
The school’s range was 50 feet long and 21 feet wide.
The Post says he once shot from the seventh lane which was closest to the right wall and missed so bad he hit the left wall.
“He tried out… and was such a comically bad shot he was unable to make the team and left after the first day,” a classmate said.
“Our old coach was a stickler, he trained Navy marksmen, so he knew people. He knew when someone’s not the greatest person.”
“We noticed a few things Thomas said and how he interacted with other people… He said some things that were kind of concerning.””
“ The deal with us kids was any fight at school was settled off school grounds after school”
I chose you out meant I challenge you to a fight after school.
Being bullied is irrelevant.
He drank milk too, shall we blame cows?
Logical fallacies abound.
Won't be difficult for MK Ultra rumors to go rampant.
A lot of us were bullied. We became good citizens and didn’t whine about it.
So he decided suddenly to kill Trump? 🤔
“I figured Crooks was bullied just by looking at his photos.”
Hubby had on Fox News (🤮) earlier. The subject was the shooter. The pic they showed was when he was about 8 years old. An innocent child. Rubbed me the wrong away.
Shooter is a ghost.
No friends. No social media accounts. No online activity. No manifesto. No criminal record. What did he do all day?
He is bullied and tries to kill Trump for it?
Not gonna fly NBC.
It’s weird that someone who was “bullied everyday” could scare the pants off a cop.
You’re probably right.
Sounds like the perfect stooge e.g. useful idiot.
No mention of a cell-phone. These days smart phones hold people’s lives.
They don’t like people who are different than they and their friends.
Some of that can be corrected by blending in somewhat in clothing and hair. As a teenager, I remember parents forcing their kids into out-of-date hairstyles and clothes because they thought it was disrespectful to their authority. Sometimes the kids wanted to be “different” on their own. Being too different has a price. I hated high school, but it helped me figure where and when I fought my battles. Some of the decisions had to wait until you moved away. You can muck up your life before age 24. You have to bide your time. That is part of growing up.
“And where were the parents?...Both parents Dems evidently.”
You answered your question - poor kid never had a chance.
Psychologists. Real good at driving their kids nuts, doing experiments on them.
I had to smile at your blow back your torturer in school. It seems to be a curse for young boys. But girls are not immune to bulling. Mine was on the bus on the way home. Every day, she made fun of me. Now I’m pretty quiet up to a point. One day I went off and smashed her to the floor and pulled mostr of her hair out and smashed her face on the iron guard. You know she did not ever venture anywhere I went from that day on. I’m not a very large woman, but I’m fast, even in my 90th days.
And there are frequently church schools as alternatives. My son went to a local Catholic school and then to an Evangelical church school.
And when you have a potential suicidal kid and own a gun, why not lock up the gun? and why did the dad own a rifle? Most good old boys own deer rifles aka assault rifles, but usually elites don't hunt so why own that rifle?
From "With Russia, With Love" (1963):
SPECTRE Agent: "This Grant is one of the best men we've ever had. A homicidal paranoiac, superb material. Though his methods were a little crude, his responses to our training and indoctrination have been remarkable."
I was bullied in high school. And yet, here I am, not assassinating people.
