It should never surprise us to hear about the cops that slink away from confrontation. If untrained, unprepared, and the adrenaline is in retreat, forget it. That aside, the fact that the cop approached the alleged assassin indicates no information was adequately relayed to, or received by, the SS in a timely manner. Something fundamentally egregious transpired.
What I want to know is why the Secret Service wasn’t on top of that roof.
