I have to wonder... I know I’ve been expecting Brib’em to formally resign since 2023. Then there was the disastrous ‘debate’... and since then, the many calls inside the DemRatMarxist party for him to step down that while not quite a crescendo, they are heading in that direction. I don’t exactly know how the dots would be connected between the shooting of a political rival to his own stepping down but I can imagine that a few that can be conjured up.... especially if put to him by the party handlers in a form that makes him look good in his departure and gives his replacement “an opportunity to move forward to a new era where the temperature is turned down”. Regardless, this is what comes to mind since I agree with your sentiment... why does he need to make another statement today?
