However , I am not holding my breath waiting for the Left to be shocked and change their ways and attitudes. I saw too much last night on social media, including one moron who was upset that the assassin missed! I absolutely lambasted her, and then had to deal with some other idiot, who criticized me for being “mean” to his friend, who is “a lady.” I’m glad I wasn’t the only one, but I pointed out that someone who posts that she is upset that a political leader wasn’t assassinated is no lady, she might be a woman, but is absolutely not a lady. I further pointed out that she was an adult, and as such is responsible for whatever she posts in a public forum - and that she deserved everything that she received back from me and other people. The interesting thing is that I read and posted all of this on a friend’s Facebook page and he later pulled the entire discussion. I subsequently spoke with him, and he indicated that this woman was pretty much a lost cause in terms of rational thought and decency. He also indicated that she had contacted him, and asked him why he did not defend her. He told me that his response to her was that he “only stands up for shit that is defensible.“
It is amazing how you ignorant and vile some people can be. I suppose that part of me will always maintain hope, but the realistic part of my mind understands that we are never going to defeat ignorance or the impulse to control others, no matter what political form the latter may take.
I saw something from a known lefty who posted “I’m begging y’all to care as much about a third grade classroom as you do about an ear”.

And I wish you and your lefty friends would care as much about defending the lives of themselves, their families, and innocent bystanders from druggies, theives, robbers, insane people, illegal immigrants, foreign invaders, crazed over-stepping bureaucrats, and a possible future dictatorial government who wants to eliminate a good chunk of the population to better control them.
