The only issue is there should have been a security team on top of the roof where the shooter was, major screw up there. The snipers on the other roof may have seen the guy interviewed by bbc pointing in the direction of the shooter, but but the building the shooter was on has a slight slope, and he was on the back slope I believe. Once shots fired the sniper resets quickly and takes the guy out. When you have an active shooter situation, you take the guy out, you don’t try to shoot him in the arm, you shoot to kill. IMHO the snipers did there job.
That’s what is bugging me. So the snipers were on building...above Trump’s head. But the guy climbing the wall with a long gun wasn’t noticed? The eyewitness was pointing and waving but no one acted? Something is wrong with all of this..

Who is this?
It’s called “aiming”.
If you are good enough to quickly put a bullet in the shooter’s face, you are good enough to put one in the shoulder ball joint thereby preventing the shooter from making followups yet remaining alive to tell his story.
Yes.
Eyewitness interviewed by the BBC confirms that despite warning the SS stood down.
Pj media has the BBC video
.

And what are those tats.
No excuse. That building should’ve been secured and manned.
You have no idea how much of the shooter the snipers could see from their position. The shooters building has a slight slope, and his body appears to be on the back side. You can see the slight slope on video showing the body up there. If you look at the google earth overhead you can then see how the building is oriented with respect to where Trump, and the sniper team was positioned. Its fairly possible that the sniper team only had a head and shoulder view of the shooter, since it appears they did not see him until after shots were fired, but it appears they were looking at something in the direction of the shooter, possibly looking for what the bbc interviewed guy was pointing at. Again, active shooter, you shoot to kill, not to wound.
Yep. I’m sure their accounts will be ignored, suppressed, or recanted.
Isn’t it something? It’s like everyone’s having a Fck up competition all of a sudden.

It seems like hesitation due to disbelief.
These guys are trained and trained and trained...but 99 percent of them will never take a shot in their career for real. They know this.
I spent a lot of time in Iraq and Afghanistan as an infantry guy from 2002 to 2007
I saw this a couple times where a new soldier were for the first time in position to shoot at someone...and they didn’t because of I think just sheer disbelief that they are in a situation where they are supposed to shoot someone.
Normally after that first time, they are good, and they will pull the trigger in future situations. Its the first time that is the issue.
And Im pretty sure those SS snipers on those rooftops today..never shot a human before today.
“You have no idea how much of the shooter the snipers could see from their position.”
Um, then do you think these professionals selected a good position? In your estimation?
They should of had people on that building the shooter was on. That is the major screw up. Not sure if the snipers could of had any better position too little info. No single position can cover everything, that’s why SS should of had security on those building close enough to the rally for a shooter.
OOOOHHHH. Well then.
There was a tree in the way.
I guess it grew there between when they set up and the incident.
