A 200-yard shot with a scoped rifle isn’t that difficult. If it was a .22 long rifle, (a not-so-powerful round) then it would be more challenging.

There ARE .22 rounds that are “sub-sonic”..
CANNOT HEAR THEM AT ALL.

A 200-yard shot with a scoped rifle isn’t that difficult 200 yards is easy with the right rifle, skill, and a good scope. Thank God the shooter did not have all of these. Otherwise, President Trump would have been severely injured or dead.

A 22LR can easily do 400 yards with iron sites for a man-sized target and lethal penetration.
Known shooting location and known target location (range, elevation) and the weapon can be zeroed prior.
