The 22 Long Rifle is effective up to 200 yards Effective? A 22 at 200 yards? A mosquito fart could blow a 22 off target at that range. Then again, the shooter did miss.

Effective? A 22 at 200 yards, The 22 is way more deadly than gun bigots want to believe, that said I would rather be hit by a 22 at 200 yards than a 308, but the 22 can kill you with a well placed shot. Do some research the 22 rifle was used by the Germans as a Sniper rifle, I had one of those as a kid and they were dead accurate.

A .22 LR is lethal out to 700 yds, but I’m guessing he used an AR type rifle 5.56 / .223.
How he got on that roof, 200 yds from PDJT and he’s in full view...🤔

I’ve seen other reports it was an AR type rifle (223/5.56 - close to 22 caliber but MUCH more powerful and much longer range).
