I can’t speak to deer shooting. My folks, however, were competition pistol shooters when I was growing up. My dad ranked 3rd in PA once. He could hit the X ring 5 out of 5 times at 25 yards with a .45. I have to believe that a 130-yard shot with a rifle wouldn’t be hard at all to someone competent. And Trump is a much bigger target than a 50-cent-piece-sized target on a pistol range.
Hitting someone at 100+ yards plus with a hand gun requires a law enforcement officer from Texas. One of them holding his horse’s reins with his left hand nailed a terrorist perp at 100 yards with his service weapon in his right hand.
My daughter is great with a shotgun, but had never shot a rifle more than a pellet gun. She went out with some guy that had a rifle. She said she hit the gong at 300 yards 5 times after missing the first time. The guy she was with never hit it, so she stopped.
I figured she meant 300 feet. Nope - looked up the shooting place they were at - 300 yards!
