Looks like he was on the backside slope of a building the SS did not have a clear view of. Let’s take a breath and see how things pan out.

I’ve known a lot of SS agents and they are almost crazy when it comes to protection but if they are short handed?

Any of the body people who surrounded him were ready to take a bullet. They should be applauded. Even the short gal.

Let’s not get to the point were we think his SS detail isn’t doing their best.

I’ve seen the video and heard the eye witnesses. I’m there. The SS failed. Or maybe they didn’t?????

If the Secret Service there at the time did not have a clear view of the perp, it was only because they didn't have the budget and/or authorization to fly a drone, which should have been SOP. IMO they were denied authorization to fly a drone.

And their ability to immediately shoot the perp establishes that they DID have a clear view of the perp even without the drone. Unless they could see the perp before he fired and chose, for whatever reason, not to engage him and/or push Trump down and out of the line of fire.

So we already know the Secret Service is at least too incompetent to protect its primaries, or too politically unreliable to do so. Either way, the Secret Service should be thoroughly purged. Which we already knew.
