DeSantis is an effective governor

No, desanctomonious is a back stabbing, deep state POS and will never be elected to anything ever again. He proved that with his support for the bogus charges against Trump and his immediate turn around on Ukraine once zelinski's handlers got to him.

I agree, and for VP I’d love to see Ben Carson on the ticket.

vivek would be an awesome VP. No one articulates the positions better than him. He is fast on his feet and smooth. He has a great way of talking to people.

Cotton is too boring!

He pretty much killed the party I’m florida and let the Charlie Crist Republicans back in control.

Signing the jew hate crime law is going to end his career. That law is going to be used to go after political opponents eventually. Stupid. He is done.

He has political talent in an era where political talent is very mediocre to downright atrocious, which makes me a fan of Vivek.

He also has many detractors on FR that think he’s a fraud, so I’m hoping he proves them wrong by being a strong force in the next Trump administration.

Former President Donald Trump met privately over breakfast with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday, six sources said.

The meeting was described as “nice” and “friendly” by one of the sources, who added that DeSantis plans to help raise money for Trump. A separate source said the meeting was mutually agreed upon and arranged by Steven Witkoff, the chairman of a real estate company, who is a mutual contact of the two men.

“We had a great meeting yesterday,” Trump said Monday on Truth Social. “The conversation mostly concerned how we would work closely together to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

A Trump campaign official told NBC News that DeSantis reached out to Trump’s team through Witkoff two weeks ago to set up a meeting to “bury the hatchet” and discuss fundraising.

The meeting, which was first reported by The Washington Post, took place in Florida. DeSantis was golfing at Shell Bay Club, a golf club near Miami, where Trump joined him for breakfast.

DeSantis told donors and supporters during a private retreat in April that he planned to help raise money for Trump’s campaign, NBC News first reported.

desanctomonious is a backstabbing POS, something I’m sure you can relate to. I don’t care if Trump forgives him or not, he’s finished. I also understand that you losers will stick with him. It’s like battered wife syndrome, you just don’t know you’re being used and abused. That’s why the deep state is a better fit for you, it’s where the easily manipulated can feel like they are a part of something.

JoSixChip, Please stop! Your continued disruption of FR post threads, at least two already this morning, several yesterday, is just plain wrong. You are constantly attacking me, TexasGator, and others. We keep asking you to stop and you don’t. Please, just stop.
