Until that day, I considered the IDF one of the most competent militaries in the world. Bibi was either in on letting it happen or was comatose asleep at the wheel.
Why does Oct 7 remind of Aesop's tale of the frog and the scorpion?
More of your slanderous BS. Treasonous leftist elements in the Air Force and intelligence services were in outright mutiny all year before over the judicial reform law. They are the direct cause. Bibi was not “in on it”, or an idiot.
The nation was betrayed by the left. And now they are trying to hang it all in him.
I watched a show on World War Two in the Pacific. On one of the islands, and I apologize for not remembering which one, after a long drawn out battle the island was declared secure. The Marine units that had done the fighting were about to be rotated out and replaced. They were scheduled to fly out first thing in the morning and the new commander wanted everything to run smoothly. They were not allowed to fly with loaded weapons according to the show so the commander ordered everyone to surrender all their ammunition the night before. The men were not happy at all because many of them believed the island wasn’t completely secure so some of them held on to small amounts of their ammo. Of course the Japanese mounted a Banzai suicide attack that night and were it not for some incredible heroics by the Marines who kept their weapons loaded they all would have been slaughtered. I think Israel and the IDF suffered from some of the same problems as the Marine Commander; bad intelligence, complacency and wishful thinking.
