I’m confused. Why was the name changed and who changed it?

Fort Bragg and other bases were caught up in the cultural cleanings of anything related to white Southerners.

I don’t know anyone that viewed Fort Bragg as a Confederate base. It is an elite US Army base.

Surely you’re aware that terrorists ruled the day after the COVID-fueled Endless Summer Riots and statues had to be removed and federal installation names had to be changed in complete agreement with BLM terrorists.

I believe it was buried in one of the NDAAs.

“I’m confused. Why was the name changed and who changed it?”

The name was changed in the wake of Saint George of Fentanyl by an illegal commission because Forts Bragg, Hood, Polk, Benning, Rucker, A.P. Hill, Pickett, Lee, and Gordon were named after *GASP* Confederates as a means to further unify the country post Civil War.
