Corrected: At the press conference President Biden said that his delegates at the convention could vote for anyone they wanted. Would that statement constitute him releasing his delegates?
Fairly certain saying it verbally isn’t what gives them the ability. It has to be written & sent out to delegates. If that were the case, we would already know. People like Donna Brazille & others would know. Obviously the White House would know & would not be putting on an unnecessary media display. Him saying that is a perfect form of plausible deniability. It means nothing ultimately unless you make a formal rule change 😉
