The fact that you think abortion and minimum wage and unlimited immigration are "hardcore conservative" shows what a joke you are.
That book was about his own family and his people....working class White Midwesterners. He was anti Trump before 2016 but changed his mind about that years ago. There are plenty of others in that category including Kari Lake. As for abortion leave it up to the states. As for the minimum wage, I don’t think it a great idea but deport the tens of millions of illegal aliens that have invaded the country, and it won’t be much of an issue - wages for Americans will go up.
