It's pretty clear that many Republican office-holders don't want those changes, either. Whether it's because they are RINOs who use similar tactics to steal primaries in conservative districts or just garden-variety GOP veterans terrified of angering their donors by rocking the boat, Republican support for voting reform since the 2020 debacle has been far less strong than it should have been.
