Unverifiable elections are not really elections at all. They’re just a variation on might-makes-right.
Isn't it interesting that in rules of evidence for trial, a break in the chain of custody makes the evidence invalid. Yet in votes, there is no chain of custody requirement on the ballots, no citizenship verification requirement, no auditable evidence of valid voting, nothing.
Nothing except, "I won and you didn't."
