“”California Gov. Gavin Newsom scrapped plans to place on the November 5 ballot a measure to compete with an already qualified proposition to reform Proposition 47.””
I take that to mean there is a proposition on the ballot this year to replace Harris’s Prop. #47. WHAT is that proposition #?

All obviously courtesy of the drug cartels, but no one will say it directly.

As California’s attorney general in 2014, Harris named a proposition that changed thefts of property valued under $950 from felonies to misdemeanors. Harris called it the “Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act” but failed to explain how legalizing crime made schools and neighborhoods safer, First, how can someone with the IQ of a bag of hammers become the state's attorney general? (I have no idea of the reputation of the Hasting College of Law, but I'd guess the bar's pretty low (pun intended).) Second, how does not punishing criminals make schools and neighborhoods or anything else safer?
