If he would only s-l-o-w d-o-w-n, I think that he could avoid most of his gaffes.
*I do genuinely believe that he is indeed senile, or suffering from dementia or Parkinson's, etc., and should be removed from office via the 25th Amendment - but I'm speaking ONLY about the perception here.
Instead, he actually speeds up - probably in an attempt to appear more "with it" - which then paradoxically triggers his gaffes.
Like a man with an I.Q. of 95 trying to be perceived as being a man with an I.Q. of 145, using three-dollar words when a simple one would suffice - and garbling them - repeating a Latin aphorism, with a horrible pronunciation - or misquoting a famous statesman, to hilarious effect.
Regards,
Contrast Joe's attempt at speed talk with Ben Shapiro's pace.
Yes, I think Joe could benefit from a slower pace...
However, that will just lengthen the time he will need to maintain a coherent thought.
Which is better/worse - fast gibberish or slow gibberish?
My popcorn is on the stove...
