Why would any NON CITIZEN be allowed to vote?
Isn’t that a part of what CITIZENSHIP is about?.

Who Is Eligible to Vote in the United States?
Eligible voters in the U.S. meet the criteria listed by the U.S. Constitution. But the following are the general requirements for eligible voters in the United States.

U.S. citizenship. The voter should be a U.S. citizen. This includes those born in the United States and naturalized U.S. citizens.

Residency. Voters should meet the state’s residency requirements where they wish to vote. Each state has its own rules when it comes to residency requirements.

Age. The voter should at least be 18 years of age (voting age) by election day.

Registration. The voter should follow the registration rules of their state. Note that voter registration law may vary in every state. For instance, some states allow same-day registration, meaning the voter can register to vote on election day. Other states have specific deadlines to register to vote.

Who Is Not Eligible to Vote?
The following groups of people are not eligible to vote in the United States:

Non-U.S. citizens
People convicted of certain types of felonies
U.S. citizens younger than 18
Some people who are mentally incapacitated
Also, residents of U.S. territories, although U.S. citizens, cannot vote in presidential elections. They can vote in presidential primaries but not in general elections. This is because these territories do not have representatives in Congress.

I think that applies to the American who allows it, not the immigrant who votes. But I could be wrong. It’s kind of vague.

> So we pass legislation to what end? State that which the Constitution ALREADY states?

Anyone who thinks politicians from any party will prioritize their constituent's interests before their own is a fool who is ignorant of human nature.

Just like repealing ObamaCare, the Republicans only advance bills like this when they know it won't get signed into law.

Remember, it was W that let Mexico issue Consular cards to illegals on US soil by not doing anything to stop it when he could have.

No but there is someone on here that does know Constitutional law very well because he practices it, and he taught me about inherent contempt as what Mayorkas could be charged with for refusing to allow Congress to hear the audio recording of Joe’s testimony with Robert Hur. Which Congress had demanded after learning that the that written testimony transcript was not the same as the oral testimony. I’ll see if I can find his name if I get some spare time. 🙂👍

Yep, now Biden will veto it.

It won't even come to that. It will die in the Senate.

But the effect of this is many stupid people will think this is the passed law and act accordingly.
