There isn't a board meeting in this country (well, 1980s 1990s early 2000s) that if you walked in and did something like that you'd earn a lot of raised eyebrows from clients and partners. No one is going to want to take you seriously and it's an indicator of nervousness.
It might be OK for a meeting of french-fry cooks at a Wendy's owned by a Democrat but it's ridiculous for that office and an embarrassment. Reminds me of something else:
