X Corp. & owner @elonmusk have officially beat a severance lawsuit related to the layoff of 6,000 employees following Musk's takeover of Twitter.
The suit alleged that Musk owed the laid-off employees $500 million in severance pay under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, but the claim was shot down by San Francisco District Judge Trina Thompson.

Twitter was a woke, adult day-care center?
Good!
This is GREAT NEWS!!!!
Those b@stards censored and banned so many good people
I’m glad.
I can’t believe this was shot down by a SF judge, pigs just flew by my kitchen window!!!
I reported death threats to President Trump and I got banned. I was reinstated, followed Dan Bongino and was promptly permanently banned.
I hope they are all suffering.
Yes not the nicest people
85% of the workforce?
The site is busier than ever, it moved fr 7th to 5th most visited site in the known world.
It means to me that 85% of these companies are social activists and if I were Musk or any other corporate raider-
they’d be on the top of my list of acquisitions.
That must have been what happened to me as well. Thanks for answering that mystery. :)
I was banned for no reason at all. As soon as Musk bought Twitter, I asked for a review and was reinstated.
Much like our Federal government under democrat leadership.
Not even adult daycare, more like insane asylum.
Baggage thieves, crossdressers, fake generals, fake men, fake marriages, fake doctors, and on, and on.
6000 wouldn’t even put a dent in it, but it would be a good place to start.
500 Million Dollars!!! , initially thought - Babylon Bee
“The suit alleged that Musk owed the laid-off employees $500 million in severance pay under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, but the claim was shot down by San Francisco District Judge Trina Thompson.”
A San Francisco company is absolved of any blame by a San Francisco judge. Now I have seen everything.
I’m still banned.
A SFO judge did the right thing?
Where’s that picture of Biden’s PR team? 10 people smiling at the camera, and two guys in the background hard at work.
That was probably what Twitter was like.
Karma just paid these losers a visit.
Ditto and under the former management, they refused to tell me what I did to get banned. As soon as Elon took over, I was automatically reinstated, didn't even have to ask.
The headline should have started with “A San Francisco District Judge Trina Thompson” .
That’s more amazing.
