I read Boeing recently plead guilty to criminal charges on their 2 Boeing 737 Max crashes and was fined 200 million, Trump was found liable in a NYC case without a victim for allegedly overstating assets and was fined double that amount.

Merchan could still sentence Trump to prison in September, depending on what the DNC tells him to do. Eugene Debs was a candidate in 1920 even though the Democrat President of that time had sent him to prison. But of course Debs was not the nominee of one of the major parties.

Maybe if Merchan orders Trump to prison the Supreme Court would stir itself to get involved. Maybe.
