WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – A US Navy sailor made several attempts to access the system with President Joe Biden’s medical records, CBS News reported on Tuesday, citing the Navy.
The sailor, whose name the authorities did not disclose, tried to access the Genesis Medical Health System — the database for the military medical system — three times on Feb. 23. However, the White House official, as quoted by the report, assured that "he did not pull up the right Joe Biden."
The Navy launched an investigation three days later, and on April 24, it was determined that the sailor could not reach Biden’s records. The White House officials underscored that the President was notified about the incident within hours after it became known.
The sailor works for the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command based at Fort Belvoir. He received an administrative penalty, according to the report.

“Administrative penalty. Article 15?”
A badge of honor in this case. He should frame it and hang it on his wall.
If this story is true that sailor’s in serious trouble.
He got an Article 15? Geeze...when I was in 50+ years ago (Army) one could get an Article 15 for being late for formation!
People get fired every single day for accessing medical records without a provider-patient relationship.
All medical records are "secret", in that sense.
What happened with all the employers demanding Covid vaxxes from their employees?
This “privacy” is a sick joke.
The dems have said the same thing about the debate.
Meanwhile, deep state actors intercepted and unmasked private comms of Trump officials without penalty, because “national security”.
(Or rather, because unregistered Democrat Party campaign contributions.)
One of my high school classmates did hard time in a Naval Prison for dumping medical records into the Potomac river instead of taking them to the incinerator. I saw his twin sister at our fortieth year reunion and got the stink eye when I asked about her brother.
The Navy has always been more hard nosed than the other branches.
This is all kinds of illegal. But. If he tried for Trumps records he’d be “patriot.”
We require proof of immunity to hepatitis for surgical privileges - but the surgeon has to produce it (or operate somewhere else).
But if I, or the chief of surgery, or the CEO went and accessed a surgeons medical records to check it - gone in 60 seconds. I’ve seen it many times.
It is an inviolable command and if you break it and get caught, you are gone.
As with so many things these days—the rules apply to some folks and not others.
The other side of that transaction is that if a violation occurs, the holder of those records has penalties >$500,000.
I understand the point you are trying to make, and your heart’s in the right place.
But you’re wrong on the facts.
For the Covid vaxx employers could demand proof of vaxxes.
That was a blatant violation of medical privacy.
That is a fact.
Anyone else who demanded proof of vaxxes also violated medical privacy.
That is a fact.
Requiring an individual to submit, let’s say, a TB test violates nothing because if you object you don’t have to work there. You still own your test result.
Looking it up without your permission is a whole other thing.
I could be mistaken, but pretty sure I’m right about this. There were things in the military guidebook that each recruit was issued that specified some very severe punishment (like a dishonorable discharge) for things that are considered common behavior nowadays.
Thanks for sharing this amazing account of great leadership! Good job! Imagine the impact you had on that young man’s life.
