I had a brief thought about the total pro-Biden debate setup and they might have used a studio audience that could have supported Joe, applauded and cheered when he slowed down and made mistakes to back him up. Silent studio made the drifting of his mind into forgetfulness and confusion seem worse. And his “you have the morals of an alley cat, why should I talk to you” sounded harsh but some laughter and cheers from a crowd of sycophants would have made it better.
Served the Dems right.
Donald Trump’s weakness is vanity. No studio audience so he did not feel a need to try to get their attention. As a result, he was much more disciplined.
