“Noem is not a rotten person”
I don’t think she is either. She’s done a good job as governor and I think she’s gotten a bad wrap because she had to shoot her dog. It’s a difficult situation to have to shoot an animal, but the dog had issues and is better off with God then being shuffled from home to home. Also, it’s quick and a better way to euthanize when the animal is very ill or been run over. Better than hauling them to the vet, making them wait in a environment they are not used to and having to have a needle shoved in it’s vein.

All true, but the way she wrote about it was completely tone deaf and frankly an unforced error. Instead of garnering empathy, she ticked people off by seemingly enjoying getting rid of the biter.

The whole ridiculous dog thing was because someone knew she had the inside track for VP.

Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm couldn’t get past legacy media unscathed.

I don’t know that Noem will be the choice, but I wouldn’t have a problem it.
