Kamala failed the Bar exam on her first try.
After graduating from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1989, she sat for the California Bar Exam. She failed it the first time she took it. She sat and passed on her next attempt, and was admitted to the California bar in 1990.

Biden’s way of doubling-down on staying in the race is by keeping Harris on the ticket, too: she was a horrible choice 4 years ago, but today it’s an interesting double-whammy for his party — one they still seem all too timid to challenge... not that I mind.
