At the beginning of Trump‘s administration, the White House press room tried some innovative approaches, such as having a couple of questions asked on video by someone from across the country. Apparently the White House press corps is a dictatorship and makes its own rules so that Trump could not even get rid of disgusting attacker questioners from CNN.
I certainly hope Trump does not pick Sara Huckabee Sanders as his VP. She was not strong in keeping the attack questioners down. Sometimes she would say “two questions only” and then she would answer a third. She is a nice person, but she was rolled by the press corps.
The idea that employees of large corporations (ABCNNBCBS) are more legitimately “journalists”, or “The Press” than independents and employees of small corporations, is ridiculous. IOW, I think the first Trump Administration simply didn’t go far enough. If you want to kick that incestuous cabal of communist bastards out, and get real journalists to replace them, go all the way with it. Kick them ALL out. Constitutional “freedom of the press” does not mean that the government must give anyone a press. “Freedom of speech” does not mean that the government must give anyone a platform.
