Me thinks Joek gets coked up for his teleprompter readings. Notice how his cadence picks up, he slurs and skips ahead. His eyes are always black when he is peppy and blue when he is slow. Compare pictures from the two events.
When he is not coked up he talks quietly, mumbles and loses his train of thought.
There is nothing hearty and hale about him, just a drug infused facade.
