You can say it. Everyone knows. Horizontal slept her way to the top. It’s not exactly a secret.

Yet the Democrats think they have a better chance with Sleepy Joe.

Warner is trying to knock Biden out, put Harris in his place. His reasoning is that this election cycle is shot. Nobody likes Harris, but rejecting her in a regular primary would alienate blacks, who might not vote GOP, but could stay home. So the best thing is to administer a death blow to Harris’s political career by having her lose in a landslide to Trump, so there’s no possibility of a Harris 2028 run.
Warner’s not doing it for the good of the Democrat party - he’s making a play for 2028. He did do an exploratory review for a White House run in 2008, then discovered he was a nobody with zero name recognition. If he manages to turf Biden, maybe he can sell himself as the savior of the Democrat party in 2028.

I guess it takes a while for news to get to England.

I don’t know about the presidency being a dead end. In my lifetime, two VPs have been elected president. Nixon and Bush the Elder.

Trump should request a debate between him and harris since she will be president if Biden manages to win.

[Gavin Newsom]
Newsom is movie star handsome and has great hair. Whether Warner, as self-appointed savior of the Democrats, can overcome that is in question. But while Warner’s efforts this year might not be sufficient to overcome Newsom’s natural gifts, they certainly couldn’t hurt. And all that hobnobbing with wealthy donors, under the pretext of getting them to talk to Biden directly, will establish a financial base for Warner’s 2028 run.

Another important consideration is that Willie Brown's career in politics may not have been widely regarded as exceptionally, um, "honest".
Most every Californian knew or suspected this. Did, or should have, Ms. Harris?
Character.
A good thing for a POUTUS to possess.

Newsom’s famous good looks have a predatory look, he doesn’t have a pleasant speaking voice, and California is a financial train wreck

Former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown - now 90 - wrote an op-ed in the San Francisco Chronicle warning his one-time lover Harris... The 'trash Kamala' stuff is starting sooner than I thought. Seems democrats are under lots of pressure to dump Biden as soon as possible and to take Kamala down with him. Every democrat in DC has known about Kamala's tawdry past since she was given the job. Her past didn't matter to Democrat power 'elties' until they read polls that said Biden could lose to Trump AND that Kamala was less popular than Biden. Power 'elites' butt boys in the MSM will now have the job of taking out Kamala. More trash talk soon as focus groups discover what works.
One more example of ways the democrat party lies about everything... and how easily they are willing to destroy anyone who stands in their way.

Another one if you’re old like me. Lyndon Johnson. It was kind of a sympathy “continue Kennedy’s vision” kind of thing but he did get elected in 64.
