Former US Secretary of State and current US Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, expressed the opinion in an interview with the British newspaper The Times that Ukraine would not be able to achieve victory in the war with Russia.
Kerry believed that Ukraine would somehow resolve the situation but doubted that it would end in victory for them. He did not think that a complete victory was guaranteed for anyone and suggested that there should be a diplomatic settlement where each side declared what it needed to make the process possible.
He also mentioned an alternative scenario of a "frozen conflict" or a "catastrophe where one side achieves victory," which he seemed to imply would be the Russian side.
From my perspective as money, weapons and men continue to be squandered stolen and killed with russia always winning and ukraine paying the price, our adm. will call for UN intervention which means us and WWIII.
