I’m more than annoyed to see this. It’s more of the “broken window syndrome” overtaking our cities. You can’t be assured of being able to use a street, road, or highway that some thugs might decide to take over and use for a stage of some sort.

The current narrative is that “it’s a non-violent crime” but that’s nonsense; it diverts police resources and hinders their prevention of other and more serious crimes.

I have lately seen it in a “nice” neighborhood. Two major intersections (Telegraph Avenue and 51st Street, College Avenue and Claremont Avenue) are now defaced with multiple circular deep tire burns from people who have been doing “doughnuts.”

If I was to get trapped in my car and couldn’t leave?
Serious violence would happen.

Now their streets are getting marked up too?
