Living in the Hill Country....
We need Beryl to make landfall just south of Corpus and then head north, staying just west of SA & Austin.
We need rain in the worst way. I’m praying.
Oh, and note my post #32... the part about ‘dawn Monday morning’? The NHC itself is now thinking ‘1PM Monday’ for landfall.
She’s slowing down more than they’d thought before.
Amen.
I’m praying that, as well (from SE TX) ... the Hill Country lakes are at record lows, as you know.
Be careful what you wish for. If you are in a drought situation, and the ground is very dry and hard, torrential rain is more likely to just run off and cause flash flooding.

What you want is a slow steady “soft” rain that slowly soaks into the ground over the course of several days, something you aren’t likely to get from a TS.
