All good here in Florida. Not so good for the folks smacked by Hurricane Beryl in TX.

As ready as can be for the silly season. Zooming back and forth across the state. Currently on the Atlantic Coast, clearing and prepping Mom's condo to get it on the market.

She's still in rehab after a bout with sepsis. Slow recovery at 92 years.

Please check in when you can. Power outages are plentiful in your neck of the bay.

NWS tracks paths of 5 tornadoes; more surveys underway

The National Weather Service in Shreveport recorded 67 tornado warnings during the storm’s trek. Survey teams were out Tuesday and continue today checking the warned areas for actual tornado paths.

Ugh ... sorry to hear that you have no internet/cell reception. Who’s your internet provider?

Hearing complaints, about Xfinity, from family/friends.

We’re still using generator, too. Thankfully, we’ve had internet almost the entire time.

My sis said that she’s hearing that (in her area) there are LOTS of out-of-area utility trucks being seen, everywhere ... w/workers just sitting in their trucks. As if no immediate plan or dispatch was in place. Hope they get these crews out and about, ASAP, if so.

It's not the provider, it's that I'm on the outskirts of the reception from their closest tower. It is their fault in that this area has grown tremendously in the past 10 years but nobody put a tower nearby.

It's probably because the San Jacinto River is nearby and there will be no growth to the east.

I haven't seen any utility trucks at all. I think Centerpoint is focused on meeting their promise to restore 1 million that they're focusing on Galveston and Houston. Montgomery County can wait a few more days.
