And something else: war with China or Russia would very quickly go nuclear. All of the big “blue” centers of federal government power would be smoking, radioactive rubble piles before Uncle Sam could even attempt to raise a large conscript army. China’s nuclear arsenal is growing *very* fast, by the way. A draft is probably meant for invading Iran or some other 2nd tier power, not the 1st tier China or Russia.
