The US military has spent the better part of the past seven years driving conservatives away from military service in favor of woke ideology and DEI propaganda. That span of time begins with and encompasses Trump's first term. The author is effectively asserting Trump initiated the military's immersion into woke culture, DEI, etc. I have a hard time buying that.
