My dad was in the WWII Pacific theater, Navy. I never once heard him mention anything about the war. When I was about 30, my mom stated he had had malaria during the war. That’s the extent of my knowledge of his service.

Just starting to watch. Dr. Jill is wearing an overcoat as if it is cold out. Yet, it is around 90.
And style, what a weird combination of dress and jacket.
Even if it were true, who wants to be reminded over and over: this guy disrespected you and your fathers and grandfathers and sons and daughters who served and all who died for their country.
On every possible occasion, dragging the ugly in, using those who served and died to score a political point. That’s disrespect. That’s cheap.
And if it were true, why does he have to try so hard to sell it?
My great uncle only started talking about what he saw over the Pacific when he was near 90. And he only spoke of it two male relatives who were also veterans.
