That was kind of stunning, actually.
Biden can still read a Teleprompter with vigor as he has done for the past 50 years. He can also gladhand and make social platitude comments. He cannot say anything that requires thinking beyond those platitudes.
Anyone who needs a teleprompter to say a few words to donors…yikes. .

These incompetent pretenders act like they are running the country. If they were all unceremoniously dumped into the Marianas Trench we would hardly notice.
I hate the media people (they are people, not just “the media” and are responsible for the acts that without repentance will send them into Hell).
Now they are saying “Biden had a bad night. Deciding between someone with a bad debate and someone who is a bad man means vote for the one who isn’t Trump.” In various combinations.
One thing that astonished me. Today a news show had a guest who said “the GOP people have been panicking and calling me one after another since the debate to ask if it’s really true Biden may drop out. They’ve built all their campaign work and strategy entirely on Biden being the nominee.”
If so, how could I figure out Biden will not be the nominee as of early last year (and of course my colleagues here, many of them) but the GOP thinks that’s a shockingly new idea?
The local press had reported that hundreds were expected to attend the Biden fund-raiser. Though the $10 million NJ Governor’s property could have easily accommodated such a crowd, it was more like 50.
Fewer if you subtract official staff, members of the Biden family, including the First Lady and several grandchildren.

Yep. When I got to the part about how Biden no longer remembers the names of longtime friends, I just shook my head.
I don't see a scenario where Biden is Trump's opponent in November. I don't know if this is good for Trump or not. I've remarked previously that the party who ditches their old guy wins in a landslide. I think the best shot Trump has against a Biden replacement is if the Democrats go with Kamala. She's so widely loathed. And I think their blind adherence to DEI will force them to do this.
If they instead went with someone like Josh Shapiro or Andy Beshear, I think the Democrats would easily win. They won't do this though.
And per the article, he can't meet with foreign leaders for any kind of diplomacy.
At the G7 meeting, Biden was the only leader who didn't stick around after dinner. He went to bed.
