I stay away from all people I don’t know and lots that I do know. No cruise for me. I do think and wonder what is the low risk price point to exclude most of the riff raff.
Carnival cruises are comparatively cheap so you would not be surprised with this behavior. High end cruises can be delightful. I had a wonderful cruise around the Greek Islands and another around the South Pacific. You get what you pay for.
