I do all my banking on my phone, too, with established banks and Apple. Their apps are all good and it all works well. The article said Fintech companies use “gamification” which adds a gaming aspect to banking and you can win awards. That doesn’t attract me — I just want solid, realiable banking. It must attract the younger set.
I can - but don’t transact anything on my phone. My point is I believe young people trust their phone as a means to an end without considering who or what they may be dealing with. Apps are what they do.
All main banks, actual banks have probably changed with the times. The people described in this situation >> “Oh, I thought it was a real bank.”
