On most applications, there is often that nagging question:
“May we contact your present employer?” Yes or No?
If you check ‘H*ll-No!!’, the unspoken response is usually “Why?”

Funny how none of this was an issue last Wednesday. He was sharp as a tack then. Able to run circles both physically and intellectually around younger men we were told. Oh gosh, he’s actually a drooling alzheimer’s patient with botox injections barely held together by a cadre of health-care orderlies and now The Party wants him replaced. Funny what a couple of days will do.
