Yesterday was the 161st anniversary of Pickett’s Charge at Gettysburg, the final act in an epic three day battle that would determine the future of the United States:

After 1865 and the surrender of the Confederacy, Americans managed to muddle through, be responsible toward one another, recognize that what happened was tragic, and rebuild the nation over many years. The result by 1945 was a strong nation of high human capital that could put guys from New York next to men from South Carolina side by side in battle and win wars together. This was an extraordinary achievement. You must remember more men died in the American Civil War than all other American wars combined, so to set such enmity aside is a big deal.
Now we can’t even agree on basic norms. Competence in government is clearly at an all time low. Mass immigration, without any breaks for assimilation or even efforts at assimilation, has torn apart a sense of unity. It’s grim, and it’s important to recognize that if we want things to improve.
The fact that we are actively trying to tear apart the progress post 1865 of rebuilding the nation by humiliating the ancestors of Confederate soldiers says it all. It’s a grotesque, nasty business, desecrating monuments and graves. And we will know things are on the road to improvement if we can vanquish this entirely, and treat the 15,000 men who attacked at Gettysburg 161 years ago today with the respect all Americans had for their bravery as recently as 25 years ago.

If Biden resigns the presidency or if he doesn’t run, one person who has a lot of explaining to do is Kamala Harris.
She has a weekly lunch with him. She sees him regularly.
Why did she gaslight us? Why does she tell us how sharp Biden is? I get she may be loyal, but she’s the tip of the cover-up spear.
