Because the deal the Democrats made with Biden was that they would not 25th amendment him if he stepped aside.

Jill Biden especially was very adamant that her husband be able to “keep his legacy”.
They prefer he die in office so they can have a state funeral for him, control the news coverage and get sympathy for the Biden family and @KamalaHarris
, name some buildings after Biden, and falsely make him out to be a hero in an election year to energize the Democrat base and make his funeral the subject of discussion for weeks leading into the election and a Democrat campaign rally the same way they essentially made Rep. John Lewis’a funeral a campaign rally in July of 2020.
Being terminally ill means Biden likely has less than a year to live. Who knows when that day will come, but it could be before the election and it could be shortly after.
But his prognosis is not good. He is dying.

Trump brings up the possibility that Kamala is replaced by a third candidate.
The Dems are going to try her out, see how she does in the polls, and if she does not perform well, they will swap candidates, AGAIN!
