The crew still seems in good spirits despite their situation.

NASA needs to just reassign their contract to Space X and be done with it!

He told Myers not to worry about being paid, that will be settled later. He also risked jail time by telling Myers that he could have more than the 1% white male limit and 20% LGBT minimum (no word the Flaming Feminist requirement, but likely that was waived too). That was back in the early '90s.

Elon Musk can bring them home, probably for a much lower price.

This a crew flight test period, yes there are thruster issues on the service module plus the helium leaks, could/should nasa and Boeing be way more up front with the issues hell yes.

Yup—telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is not that difficult.
Somebody in .gov ought to try it at least once!

Nasa did not build starliner Boeing did. Boeing needs to be more upfront with all the issues.

Yes I listened to the last update on Thursday or Friday and the Boeing guy even admitted they needed to be more upfront as did nasa.

“Nasa did not build starliner Boeing did.”
Technically you’re right, but how much freedom does Boeing have, regardless of the program, to uproot the DEI rot?

True, but the 90s in California was roughly as f’d up as the entire country is today.

Send the two top Boeing Engineers up in a Space X Dragon Capsule. Send the astronauts that are stranded home, in the Dragon. Tell the Boeing Engineers their ride home is on the Boeing Starliner Capsule. I doubt they would take the option.

The Starliner's service module contains thrusters, helium lines and other systems that NASA officials need to study before discarding the module upon re-entry and allowing it to burn up. But why discard the Starliner module? Why not have it try to return to Earth without the astronauts, and see how it goes? That is, unless they know it can harm people on Earth as it comes down. They should never have sent people up in that death trap. Nasa should stick to SpaceX for contracts to get people up and down from space.
