Gerald Ford was to be his replacement as VP (and of course later President).
Ford was the perfect Deep State zombie.
Ford had a habit of visiting the Kit Kat club in DC and engaging in well ya know with the young ladies in the club. J. Edgar Hoover had the place wired for sound and pictures so he owned Gerald Ford.
However—Ford’s proof of loyalty to Hoover had never been disclosed until the release of a batch of JFK assassination files a couple of years ago.
(Now remember Ford is an idiot—the rumors at the time were that he had head injuries as a result of his football years at the University of Michigan. I actually spent some time with him with a small group of Young Republicans when he was House Minority Leader and I can personally vouch that he was dumb as a rock.)
Now—back to the assassination files....
A draft of the final Warren Commission Report with handwritten notes by Commission members was released a couple of years ago.
Researchers were stunned to find Gerald Ford’s handwriting in the part of the report you would least expect it.
He crossed out the location of the entry wound in an illustration and moved it!
(Obviously Ford had no background in forensic pathology—so he was obeying very specific J. Edgar Hoover orders. It was Ford’s proof of total obedience directly tying him to the coverup of the assassination.)

I thought Ford was a good president, but looking back, he wasn’t. He was selected by the deep state...Nixon was flawed, but he was good.
My biggest political mistake was that I hated Ford so much (was a young Reagan activist in the primary of 1976) that I voted for Jimmah Carter—my first election.
I have never voted democrat since.
