Exactly! 4 states have very restrictive provisions on replacing a nominee unless it’s death. Those states like Wisconsin would mean a certain loss for any other candidate. I think the Democrats are boxed in. Not to mention, Joe can simply refuse to release his delegates, which is a distinct possibility. The Democrats are starting to wake up to the fact the President may lose here this year, like the Republicans in 1996 with Dole. They have to hold the Senate now.
