The MSM and the Democrats would ramp up their support of any Biden replacement candidate, demonstrably changing the dynamic. 40-45% of the country will vote for any candidate with a “D” after their name, so ANY replacement would be immediately viable. The media would then push that percentage higher.

I agree, Biden was the BEST THING we had going for us, and TRUMP BLEW IT, by allowing this debate in June/July, rather than September.
