If he was definitely staying in there would be no family meeting to discuss the matter. This sure sounds like he’s going to suspend the campaign.
He could suspend the campaign, release his delegates and declare an open convention.
That washes his hands of the Kamala issue.
The disparity between the Biden supporters on social media, (who are fanatically behind him) and the DNC insiders, who appear to be directing an effort to oust him, indicates that there is no clear path here. There’s an internal battle going on, and I think Biden has more power behind the scenes than we might think. But if the DNC cabal thinks he can’t beat Trump, he’ll be gone. Their biggest factor right now is the calendar. This has to be done very soon.
