Those odds are kinda where I am right now—about 50-50.
If the poll numbers remain valid—where Biden or Newsome or Kamala or Whitmer or a chimpanzee all poll about the same on the Democratic ticket then they might as well just stick with Biden.
If they change and Biden drops lower than a chimp then he probably will be voluntold to go.

Far be it for me to give the Dems advice, but I kinda disagree with the “the rest of ‘em are all polling worse than Biden’ premise. At this point because of all his issues, Biden has a *ceiling* on this support. Dementia Joe ain’t winning over any new people. Conversely, voters around the country don’t necessarily know much about the various Dem governors. Who’s to say that, once voters get to know them a bit, they might not have a higher support ceiling than Joe? (Hard to imagine a *lower* ceiling unless we’re talking about a really annoying laughing hyena like Kamala).
