She could have stayed in Congress, but I sense she left because she knew her constituents were too liberal for her to continue on.
She and her husband bought a house in Texas earlier this year. Is that a second house and still retains her home in Hawaii near those too liberal constituents, or did she formally move to Texas and make that her permanent address? I can't find any info as to if or when she moved completely from the blue State of Hawaii to the red State of Texas.
